Stockton, California OB/GYN Hospitalist Locum Tenens | 24-Hour In-House Shifts Location: Stockton, California Contract Type: Locum Tenens | OB/GYN Hospitalist Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Board Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Rhino Medical is Leading the Charge in Northern California We’re seeking experienced OB/GYN Hospitalists for a dynamic, high-volume women’s health program in Stockton, CA. This opportunity features flexible 24-hour in-house shifts with Level III NICU support, robust backup coverage, and a collaborative care team environment. Providers with strong inpatient obstetrics skills and a passion for hospital-based care are encouraged to apply. Opportunity Snapshot Facility Overview Regional Medical Center | 336-Bed Hospital 39-Bed ICU | Level III NICU EMR: Cerner Credentialing Timeline: 90 Days (Expedited Temp Privileges Possible for Clean Files) Program Details Annual Deliveries: ~3,000 OBED Visits: 250 annually Annual OB ED Visits: 6,000 – 7,000 Annual Surgical Procedures: ~60 Community OB/GYNs Provide Backup Call Shift Structure: 24-Hour In-House Shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 AM) Staffing: Current: 1 MD per shift Expanding: Adding a second MD in July Shift Commitment: 12 shifts/month preferred (no minimum required; weekend-only candidates considered) Clinical Scope 24/7 L&D coverage for unassigned patients & OB emergencies Main ER consults & emergency gynecologic surgeries Inpatient consults for unassigned patients Surgical Assist: Cesarean Sections NICU Support: Level III Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain) Minimum 3 years recent OB/GYN clinical experience ACLS, BLS, and NRP Certifications Required Proficient in full-scope OB/GYN hospitalist duties Why Rhino Medical?
