Code Enforcement Officer

Marple Township is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Code Enforcement Officer. This position is responsible for administering and enforcing the provisions of the Marple Township Code and other applicable Township ordinances. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade school certificate or related training preferred. • Must possess required ICC/State certifications (or combination of certifications) relevant to municipal code enforcement, including: • Building/Property Maintenance • Residential Building Inspector • Plumbing Inspector • Mechanical Inspector • Energy Code Inspector • Plans Review / Building Plans Examiner • Certified Health Inspector preferred but not mandatory • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform field inspections in varying conditions.
