2 Temporary F/T Entry Level Mail Room Office Clerks Needed in Lombard, IL $21/hr Our client, Dearborn, a busy Insurance Company located in Lombard, Illinois, is looking for two experienced temporary full-time Entry Level Mail Room Office Clerks. These are temporary (possibly temp-to-hire) full-time contract positions working Monday-Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm) onsite in Lombard, Illinois. Job Responsibilities Compile, verify, input, extract, and maintain data used for routine and special reports; prepare basic statistical data, charts, and departmental reports from multiple sources. Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including typing correspondence, notices, reports, forms, and supervising legal documentation. Manage document lifecycle activities in compliance with retention, departmental, and state requirements, including filing, imaging, scanning, indexing, and storage management. Handle mailroom operations, including sorting, preparing, delivering, and investigating mail; operating and maintaining postage, folding, printing, and imaging equipment. Monitor, order, and maintain office, paper, print, and postage supplies; ensure work areas and mailroom remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. Review, verify, correct, and approve system inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures. Communicate professionally with internal customers, co-workers, and management; maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, corporate integrity, compliance, and other organizational policies while completing assigned special projects. Job Requirements 2 years of recent office clerical support experience. High School Diploma. Mailroom operations experience is a plus. Experience with mail pallets and UPS/USPS is preferred. The ability to move and lift boxes and or office equipment up to 50 pounds. The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. The ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
