Electrical Assembly/Teardown

Position Summary The primary duties of this position will be electrical assembly and testing of magnet system controllers, DC rectifiers, battery back-ups, and other electrical accessories. The qualified individual should be capable of following schedules, communicating issues that arise and working in a time sensitive fashion in a highly changing product mix. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Work from blueprints and schematics to perform wiring functions Assemble controller and rectifier panels from drawings using hand tools and/or electric pneumatic tools. Operate test equipment comparing unit performance to design specifications. Experience and Education Required High school education or equivalent. Electrical assembly experience required. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics and engineering specifications. Ability to read various measuring equipment including meters, scales and other electrical assembly tools. Ability to use various hand tools, hydraulic presses, air wrenches, electric motors, air gauges, painting equipment, parts washer, cranes. Required to operate a forklift and overhead cranes. Basic computer skills in MS Excel, MS word and email required. Physical Requirements Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 lbs continuously and 100 lbs occasionally Requires standing continuously and walking occasionally throughout the day up to ten hours HBD Industries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
