Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires. Handle benefits administration and address employee inquiries regarding benefits. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance on performance management and employee development initiatives. Assist in creating and delivering HR-related training programs. Collaborate with management to address workplace issues and foster a positive work culture. The Successful Applicant A successful HR Generalist should have: A strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, compliance, and employee relations. Prior manufacturing experience required. Previous experience working with unionized employee populations required. Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple HR processes effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with employees and management.
