Pharmacy Technician Summary Responsibilities (30%)Receives and reviews all prescriptions for correctness and appropriateness and dispenses the most appropriate medications for individual patients. (30%)Supervises the preparation of intravenous admixtures and parenteral products. (30%)Responsible for the pharmacy workflow and leadership on their shift and communication between shifts. Follows up on problems during the course of the daily shift. (10%)Participates in patient care rounds with nursing, physicians, dietitians, social workers and other health professionals to provide multidisciplinary approach to the care of each patient, as applies to the specific affiliate where pharmacist works.
