Travel Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin Pay: $2,700/week (Travel Only) Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Contract Length: 13 Weeks Hours: 40 hours/week Position Overview Marshfield Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Occupational Therapist for a high-volume inpatient setting. This role supports adult and pediatric patients across acute inpatient units, ICUs, and inpatient rehabilitation programs within a Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Patient Population & Units Adult and Pediatric Acute Inpatient Units Adult and Pediatric ICUs Level II Trauma Center Primary Stroke Center Adult and Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Med-Surg, Trauma Pediatric Inpatient Rehab Program Department Volume Approximately 120–150 patients per day (department total) Average per therapist: 9 evaluations/day and 16 treatments/day Responsibilities Perform ADL evaluations and functional assessments Document care and justify appropriate next level of care Treat patients across multiple inpatient care areas Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation Demonstrate flexibility and strong teamwork skills Schedule & Coverage Day shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Variable scheduling; self-scheduling not permitted Weekend and holiday coverage required (comp days provided) All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility Required Qualifications Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapist license (required at submission) BLS certification (AHA required) NBCOT certification preferred Experience in acute inpatient and rehabilitation settings Strong written and verbal communication skills Credentialing & Onboarding (Important) OT professionals must complete facility credentialing and privileging Credentialing committee meets every third Monday of the month All onboarding requirements (including WI license) must be completed by the second Monday of the month to avoid start delays The onboarding and credentialing process may take up to two months or longer Must disclose any prior employment with Marshfield Medical Center Prior employees must have an end date at least six months before submission Additional Details Charting system: Cerner Trauma level: II Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Cancellation policy: Up to 12 hours per 13-week contract Apply Now!
