Assistant Manager The Assistant Manager will assist Amp Up in creating the best experience possible for our guests and a great place to work for our team. The Assistant Manager will assist management in helping run day-to-day operations and coaching direct and indirect reports. This position has future growth potential. Qualifications: Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays Previous management and training experience with part-time staff Consistent and approachable personality Organization, follow-up and multitasking skills are a must Eagerness to grow within the team Experience with cash handling Previous experience with corporate events and birthday parties a plus First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) A minimum of two years of management experience in a related field is preferred 21+ years of age preferred Above all this position requires a "fun fueled" spirit and a dedicated team player Job Responsibilities Include: Share in Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities, including opening and closing the facility and directing crew members Train and coach crew members, including activity, maintenance, pit and cashier crew Ensure the safety, cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility Be a champion of point of sale software and reporting Help maintain company policies and procedures in all aspects of the business Facility management, support all of Amp Up's activities and events Perform the functions of crew members when necessary Ensure all inspections are completed and submitted as required Oversee general facility, track and equipment maintenance and repair Direct responsibility to ensure every crew member wears a smile Other management duties as assigned Necessary Skills: Great Attitude: Being friendly, respectful and even-tempered will help keep guests and employees coming back Attention to Detail: There are many important elements under this manager's responsibility: facility safety and cleanliness, personnel, profitability Team-Oriented Leadership: The Assistant Manager needs to be a strong communicator and connector who can rally the team, resolve conflicts professionally, leverage individual talents and continual development of all staff Management Skills: This role assists in employee development, reviews and internal rewards Organizational Skills: Organizing people is crucial to the success of this role. The Assistant Manager must be a strong multi-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environment Problem-Solving Skills: Dealing with employee conflict, guest complaints and other imperfect situations.
