Project Manager Commercial Construction A major and highly reputable general contractor headquartered on the Northwest Side of Chicago, known for delivering complex commercial projects and maintaining strong relationships with top-tier clients. The team manages a diverse local project portfolio with long-term stability and opportunities for advancement. Job Description Lead overall project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Manage subcontractor scope, performance, buyout, and contracts. Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, cost control, and forecasting. Own schedule development and updates, coordinating closely with field leadership. Maintain project documentation and reporting through Procore. Drive project safety culture in partnership with site teams. Lead client communication, progress meetings, and expectation management. Ensure quality, adherence to design intent, and issue resolution. Oversee closeout, commissioning, and turnover packages. The Successful Applicant 4-7+ years of commercial construction project experience. Strong proficiency with Procore and digital project management tools. Solid understanding of scheduling, financial management, and subcontractor coordination. Proven ability to manage mid-sized to large commercial projects. OSHA 30 is a plus.
