Controls Project Manager

BAS Sales Project Manager We will be looking for an experienced controls project manager that has experience running sizeable portfolio of projects with large project or multi scope(division) project experience being a big plus. The BAS Sales Project Manager will manage BAS projects and will play an integral role in the growth of the controls department. The position will report to the Director of Building Automation Systems. Essential duties and responsibilities include: Leading project teams to support department and company goals including financials Escalating issues on projects in a timely manner Selling and estimating BAS construction jobs and change orders Managing the needed materials and manpower to support assigned BAS projects Estimating the costs (materials, equipment, and labor) of BAS assigned projects Coordinating with other divisions within the organization and the scheduling of work Assisting in sales calls to prospective clients as required Effectively managing projects from conceptualization to completion Facilitating and attending BAS project meetings as required Actively participating in career related organizations Qualifications include: Minimum of 5+ years in BAS experience. Ideal candidate will have Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara and Distech Controls experience includes: Strong analytical and leadership skills Demonstrated time management skills, resulting in the ability to manage multiple client relationships and prioritize time and resources accordingly In-depth understanding and "hands on" experience with any or all of the following systems - HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning and/or chillers 3 to 5 years experience in energy management, building commissioning and/or systems diagnostics/ troubleshooting HTS provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by laws.
