Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Forest City Nursing and Rehab | Forest City, PA Full-Time | Day Shift (Flexible) Salary: $95,000 (Negotiable based on experience)Position Overview Forest City Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to support and lead nursing operations within our skilled nursing facility. This leadership role works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. Key Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily operations of the Nursing Services Department to ensure exceptional standards of care Collaborate with the admissions team to interview and screen prospective residents Review nursing documentation to ensure compliance with care plans, physician orders, and medication administration Support the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator with MDS processes, care planning, and implementation of strategies Facilitate orientation for new nursing staff and provide ongoing education and training for current team members Plan, organize, and schedule required in-service training programs, including coordination with outside speakers Maintain accurate training records and ensure completion of all required annual in-services Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in long-term care, hospital, or related healthcare settings Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations Experience working with the geriatric population preferred Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Why Join Forest City Nursing and Rehab?
