About Arora Health & Aesthetics Arora Health & Aesthetics is a national medical group providing medical directorship and telehealth oversight for top medspa, wellness, and longevity clinics across the U.S. We support compliance, clinical quality, and operational scalability for partner locations offering services such as weight management, aesthetic injectables, peptide therapy, hormone optimization, and other advanced wellness treatments. Position Overview Arora Health is seeking a licensed physician in Florida to serve as Medical Director for partner medspa locations within the state. This position involves clinical oversight, protocol approval, and supervisory review of medical services provided by Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates. The Medical Director ensures compliance with Florida Medical Board regulations and supports safe, high-quality patient care for weight-loss, aesthetic, and peptide-based therapies. This role is primarily remote and supported by Arora’s centralized telehealth and compliance infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Provide medical oversight and supervision for aesthetic and wellness services performed by advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs) under Florida law. Review and approve treatment protocols, informed consents, and clinical procedures for partner medspa locations. Conduct chart review and sign-off on Good Faith Exams (GFEs) and prescriptions within the required timeframe. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, telehealth standards, and delegation requirements. Offer clinical guidance and serve as an escalation point for complex cases or adverse events. Collaborate with Arora’s compliance and legal teams to maintain updated state documentation (delegation agreements, collaborative protocols, etc.). Support training and onboarding of new providers and clinics as needed. (Optional) Participate in the development and review of peptide and hormone therapy protocols across the Arora network. Qualifications MD or DO with active Florida medical license and good standing. 3+ years of experience in aesthetic medicine, weight management, or wellness practice. Plastic Surgery / Dermatology specialty preferred Working knowledge of peptide therapy, GLP-1 medications, and other prescriptive wellness programs. Experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners or Physician Associates. Understanding of telehealth compliance, clinical delegation, and patient documentation standards. Strong communication and organizational skills; responsive to remote teams. Must reside in FL Compensation Monthly stipend (reflective of state scope and clinic volume). Per-chart or per-review compensation for GFEs and prescription reviews. Additional compensation available for expansion oversight, protocol development, or training participation.
