Position Details: Location: BayCare Trinity Surgery Center, 2020 Trinity Oaks Blvd, Trinity, FL 34655 Status: PRN, As-Needed Shift: Variable On Call: No Always in person The procedural RN responsibilities include: RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned For this position, we prefer at least two years of acute care experience with at least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room. This position will be focused on circulating Ambulatory surgery cases and procedures in the Endoscopy suite. This is a PRN, as-needed role. Certifications and Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department Preferred Nurse Specialty Education: Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing Preferred Bachelor's Nursing Experience: Required 1 year acute care experience or 1 year interventional / procedural experience or 6 months RN acute care or interventional / procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.
