Respiratory Therapist - Full Time - Nights POSITION SUMMARY: Sets up and operates various types of respiratory equipment utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of various respiratory diseases and/or illnesses of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Provides safe, competent and ethical respiratory cardiopulmonary care to all patients. Administers various respiratory therapy therapeutic modalities, various types and modalities of oxygen administration and diagnostic testing such as Pulmonary Function Studies, Arterial Blood Gases Studies to include arterial punctures and Electroencephalography (EEG), mechanical ventilation support including BIPAB and CPAP therapy. Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Experience: Previous clinical experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred. Previous experience in Critical Care Setting (ICU/ER) preferred. Special Qualifications: Licensed by Louisiana State Board as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Louisiana. Current BLS.
