Black & Veatch is seeking a Cross-Sector Environmental and Industrial Water Solutions Proposal Coordinator to join our talented, inclusive and supportive Sales & Pursuits team of proposal coordinators, pursuit specialists, graphic designers and strategy professionals. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-organizational pursuit teams comprised of business development professionals, engineers and subject matter experts to manage proposal efforts and incorporate best practices to develop client-centric, visually appealing and compliant sales documents. This dynamic role supports varied pursuits that have unique blends of solution offerings, content gathering and content development to meet a wide range of client needs. In this role, you will: Complete pursuit tasks with limited day-to-day supervision Coordinate proposal deliverables using strong communication, time management, writing skills, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite design software Black & Veatch takes pride in supporting our employees and providing flexibility to make the things that are most important to you, a priority. Key Responsibilities Research and gather proposal materials, including drafting non-technical content using boilerplate materials, prior proposals and internal proposal resources Coordinate proposal content and proposal layout Drive proposal progress to meet scheduled milestones and compliance with the RFP Review, proofread and edit proposals for clarity and grammar Support department's content management activities Leads the effort to develop the company response for RFIs Collaborates with internal clients and client account managers to develop client presentation content Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of project or proposal support experience Experience in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple deadlines Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign required Confident personality with strong interpersonal skills Written communications including persuasive writing, proofreading and editing Critical thinking and creative problem solving Proactive working style Organizational and administrative skills, and attention to detail Ability to manage short turnaround needs and prioritize competing deadlines Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience 2+ years related experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
