Job Description Summary: Provides Human Resources support to ensure that employee concerns and needs are addressed in a fair and timely manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate in a team-based environment; providing excellent, friendly and responsive customer service to employees and managers. Actively maintain HRIS database and personal files to ensure record compliance; accountable in following up with managers and/or employee for incomplete information. Interpret and apply company policies and procedures. Communicate changes in HR related policies and benefit plans. Support the benefits administration process by maintaining working knowledge of the company's benefit plans, lead open enrollment functions including employee education, communication and wellness activities. Support all employee initiatives and practices including recruitment, talent, leadership development, retention, engagement, performance and talent management. Manage and maintain administration compliance of FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA and WC for all employees. Manage end-to-end hourly recruiting including; recruiting flow/closure of interviews through job postings and applicant tracking software (iCIMS). Lead and support the onboarding/exiting process to include; orientation, retention programs, exit interview and administration functions. Manage processes connected with payroll administration to confirm accurate and timely payrolls. Direct engagement with Staffing Agencies by providing weekly reports and updates related to staffing and hours worked. Manage temporary employment onboarding and offboarding process. Proactively address workforce concerns by answering employee questions and/or facilitating resolution of employee concerns. Proactively conduct investigations, escalating issues/concerns and advising of conflict resolutions. Perform day to day administration and maintenance of all HR department's system. Perform other related duties and projects as required and assigned. Travel to local sites when needed. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study. Minimum of 5 years in an HRIS or HR support role in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Preferred: 3 + years of experience with Workday, UKG, and/or Beeline, Additional experience with Applicant Tracking Software is highly preferred. Preferred: 3+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations. Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, determine appropriate solutions and resolve sensitive problems. Demonstrated customer service orientation; ability to provide service and remain focused even during emotionally charged circumstances. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communication with employees at all levels, both verbally and in writing. Organization and time management skills with expert attention to detail, ability to use independent judgement effectively. A highly proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and interactions. Strong team player skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals at all levels of an organization. Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Mathematical Skills: Basic. Computer Skills: Intermediate PC literacy including MS Office applications, Workday, UKG. Physical Demand: Standing, walking, sitting. May be required to stoop, kennel, bend, squat, twist, climb, push, pull, carry, reach or lift up to 15 lbs. Work Environment: Office environment. Will be required to go into manufacturing environment which is loud, humid, extreme heat (depending on season) dusty, fumes. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,300-$90,500 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
