Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Maintenance Technician 1 The Maintenance Technician 1 will support the Maintenance department, under direction from the Maintenance Supervisor to conduct preventative maintenance orders and test and repair malfunctioning equipment throughout the plant. Test and repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery and notifies appropriate personnel. Perform PM's on Cold Heading Machines Install equipment, machines, or programs to meet specifications. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine what maintenance is needed. Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, and precision instruments. Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools. Use welding skills/equipment (TIG, Stick, Torch) to fabricate and repair chutes, conveyors, hoppers, etc. Demonstrate high level of mechanical aptitude and must possess the knowledge of timing of cams and gears, how to set backlash, replace bushings. Understand hydraulic principles, pneumatic principles etc. Maintain current knowledge and actively addresses safety and environmental issues. Other duties may include janitorial, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, security, carpentry. Additional responsibilities as assigned. $23-$30 per hour ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
