Job Opportunity: Operational Care Specialist When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. The Operational Care Specialist ensures that internal customers receive a consistent and positive experience whenever they engage with the Operational Care Center (OCC). As part of the OCC team, this role supports Customer Care Locations (CCLs) through proactive service, problem solving, follow-up, and effective collaboration with customer service colleagues. Responsibilities include: Process accurate files by adhering to all policies and procedures while maintaining up-to-date shipment visibility. Monitor, prioritize, and balance customer-specific needs by responding to inquiries across multiple communication channels. Partner with CCLs to uphold customer commitments by reviewing KPI reports and supporting corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with the System Process team to increase automation and streamline Operational Care workflows. Maintain complete and accurate customer data within core operating systems by initiating Business Profile updates and managing Wiki content. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of freight forwarding experience. 1+ years of customer service experience. What's in it for you?
