Mechanical Assembler We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our service department. In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling rejected products, documenting issues, and reassembling them correctly. You will be expected to follow blueprints and accurately record your findings in the computer system. Responsibilities: Disassemble rejected products and document any issues encountered. Reassemble products correctly according to specified guidelines. Follow blueprints and build sheets to ensure accurate assembly. Use hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks. Maintain detailed records of assembly processes and findings. Essential Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly. At least 1 year of experience with hand and power tools. Proficiency in reading and writing in English. Ability to follow build sheets and blueprints accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in medical device assembly is preferred. Work Environment: This position involves bench work, with employees sitting for 8+ hours a day in a medical device manufacturing facility that is extremely clean and climate controlled. The company operates with approximately 150 employees across two shifts. The quality team consists of around 15 employees. Departments include engineering, machining, maintenance, assembly, quality, polishing, and warehouse. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes and safety glasses on the floor, along with plain-colored shirts and jeans or work pants. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
