Truck Driver

Truck Driver TAMKO is seeking a Truck Driver at our facility in Dallas, Texas. The Truck Driver is responsible for performing transportation functions. This includes the pickup and delivery of raw materials, finished goods and other miscellaneous freight to and from plant operations, warehouse and vendors. The Truck Driver will also assist with warehouse operations. Summary of essential job functions To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Pick up, transport and unload bulk raw materials as dictated by production requirements. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of bulk and other raw materials on a daily/weekly basis. Occasional transport of miscellaneous equipment/materials to and from company owned facilities and outside vendors/contractors. Occasional loading/unloading of materials using a forklift. Perform required raw material testing as specified by Standard Operating Procedures. Complete annual training requirements. Assist with inventory and cycle counts as needed. Requirements Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Basic computer skills. CDL Class A. Forklift certification per company requirements.
