Job Description

QuickBooks Bookkeeper We are seeking a detail-oriented QuickBooks Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity organization on a contract to permanent basis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across multiple companies, supporting month-end close, and ensuring clean, timely reporting for ownership and leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, understands intercompany activity, and can keep books organized, reconciled, and audit-ready. Requirements: Maintain general ledger for multiple legal entities using QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop Process full-cycle AP and AR, including invoice entry, billing, collections support, and vendor payments Record and reconcile intercompany transactions and allocations Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations for all entities Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments Support month-end close and prepare basic financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Track and manage expenses, reimbursements, and company credit cards Maintain organized documentation and support CPA, tax, and audit requests Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve accounting issues Assist with process improvements and accounting clean-up as needed
