Warehouse Associate/Order Picker

Warehouse Associate/Order Picker PrideStaff is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/Order Picker for a client in Glendale Heights, IL. This position is for a warehouse associate that handles various warehousing responsibilities. Candidate must have order picking experience and must be able to pull and check orders. Candidate will help customers that come to pick up their will call orders. This will include picking and loading customer orders. They will also check in material and put it away in the correct locations in the warehouse. Candidate will also handle outbound UPS/LTL shipments. Candidate will be on an order picker (heights up to 20') more so than a forklift. Forklift Operator experience is preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required. 1st Shift- 8am-4:30pmWill need to train 7am-4:30Pay: $20-$21/hr MUST HAVES: 1 year of forklift experience 1 year of warehouse experience Steel-toe boots/shoes Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory is preferred. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times. Insurance available! Overtime available!
