Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity near ROCKAWAY PARK, NY We are currently seeking a skilled non-invasive Cardiology trained physician to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. This is a permanent position, and we welcome applications from individuals with one to three years of cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Ideal Candidate Qualities: One to three years of cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting. Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of cardiology conditions to enhance patient outcomes. Competency in diagnosis and treatment to maintain high standards of patient care and safety. Patient-centered approach, ensuring a positive patient experience. Excellent communication skills. Interest in Population Health Management. Responsibilities: Review patient's medical history and perform physical examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Perform a wide range of non-invasive Cardiology procedures, including echocardiography, stress echo testing, and pacemaker/defibrillator monitoring. Diagnose patients with the aid of diagnostic images, electrocardiograph recordings, and other testing. Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans. Recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits. Provide relationship-centered care, considering the patient's psychosocial and physical needs. Maintain complete and accurate medical records. Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care. Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent. Completion of a four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program in the area of practice and three years of cardiology fellowship training. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, or Echocardiography with a preference for Level II or Level III COCATS certification. Seeking both experienced and newly trained providers. Current, unrestricted New York State license. Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration. Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll. BLS or ACLS certification required (both strongly preferred). Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office. Job ID: j-201467
