Our nurses are highly trained and have a specialized skill set in dialysis, resulting in exceptional levels of compassionate care. Key Responsibilities: Must be able to function at a high level with little oversight to provide nursing care, training, and home support (as needed); Works collaboratively with Dialyze Direct team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives and dedicated Nephrologists; Collects and records relevant patient health data in the course of/pre/post hemodialysis treatment; Develops and maintains a plan of care that describes interventions to attain expected outcomes; Implements and records interventions to attain expected outcomes in EMR; Performs laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures and reschedules missed or inadequate laboratory collections; Occasional travel to other nearby locations; Medication administration and documentation; Requirement description : 6 months of current RN experience - REQUIRED 3 months of hemodialysis experience - Strongly preferred NXStage Dialysis Machine experience - REQUIRED BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association Required) - REQUIRED Ability to lift up to 35 pounds - REQUIRED This is a safety sensitive position PROFILE REQUIREMENTS Resume (Perm address must be included in profile) Skills checklist specific to the discipline (within the last year) 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment License/Certifications - Must be active at time of submission CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : BLS (AHA) STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Maryland ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Weekend Requirements : No weekends On Call Requirements : No call
