About us We're a well established-practice, with locations in Lake Zurich (20yrs) and Wheeling (40yrs). We have a great and stable client base that has been built over many years. We practice full scope optometry, including diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, cataract and laser co-management. We are a professional and customer-centric practice looking for a full-time optometrist that shares the same patient-care values as us. We're offering a flexibile schedule to accomodate your needs, looking to fill 3-5 days per week. Our equipment includes: Two fully equipped exam lanes with chair, stand, phoropter, slit lamp with Goldman Tonometer, Bio, review screens for OCT and Digital imaging, Trial Frame and lenses and LCD chart projectors. Additional equipment in pre test room include Optovuve iFusion, OCT and Digital Retina imaging, Matrix visual field unit, Bark 80 auto refactor- keratometer and iCare tomometer. Hand Instruments including Retinoscope and Ophthalmoscope. Foreign body removal kit. Color vision and stereopsis tests. Support staff available, including a technician to aid in pre-testing and special testing. Opportunity to practice to the full extent of licensure. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat eye disorders. Perform eye examinations with diagnostic equipment. Explain treatment options to patients. Uncover symptoms of rare retinal diseases in young people. Develop new treatments based on research. Maintain contact with other eye specialists and current research. Perform other duties as required, such as record keeping, supplying glasses, and completing insurance forms.
