Job DescriptionCommercial Auto Claims Examiner - BI & Litigation Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Auto Claims Examiner - BI & Litigation to join a team in a fully remote capacity. This role involves managing and resolving bodily injury and litigated commercial auto claims across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial auto claims, including experience with attorney-represented cases and litigated claims. Compensation Package Salary Range: $85,000 - $98,000 per year (depending on experience) Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc. Responsibilities Investigate and resolve first and third-party commercial auto claims, including bodily injury (BI) and uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM) claims. Handle claims involving moderate to severe injuries, such as soft-tissue injuries, fractures, disc herniations, joint dislocations, and short-term hospitalizations. Manage attorney-represented claims and litigated cases, including analyzing and responding to time-limited policy demands. Conduct coverage analysis and identify coverage issues. Collaborate with experts in various disciplines, including physicians, attorneys, accident reconstructionists, and forensic accountants. Maintain claim files in accordance with established best practices. Evaluate and value injuries and damages, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Obtain and maintain all required state adjuster licenses, including the ability to secure licenses in Texas and Florida (costs covered by the company). Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree required (insurance industry designation is a plus). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial auto claims adjuster. At least 3 years of experience handling bodily injury claims. Minimum of 1 year of experience managing litigated injury claims. Strong knowledge of first and third-party claims, including attorney-represented cases. Adjuster license in home state required, with the ability to obtain licenses in Texas and Florida. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in understanding and reviewing policy documentation. Ability to formulate action plans and present claim files effectively.
