Human Resources Business Partner $80,000 - $85,000 / Year Location: Hartford, Connecticut Department: Human Resources Employment Type: Permanent LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who supports employees and managers across the organization by delivering core HR functions, managing the employee lifecycle, and partnering with leadership to drive talent and culture initiatives. This role requires a hands-on HR generalist who is organized, proactive, and effective at building strong relationships at all levels. Responsibilities: Support full employee lifecycle including onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and exit processes. Partner with managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices. Manage talent management activities including performance evaluations, goal-setting processes, and employee development programs. Coordinate recruitment efforts with hiring managers, including job postings, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication as needed. Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate HR-related reports as requested. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and procedures. Assist employees with HR-related inquiries, benefits questions, and general guidance. Support organizational development initiatives such as engagement surveys, training sessions, and change management efforts. Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and talent strategy. Maintain personnel files and documentation in accordance with company standards and legal requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 5+ years of human resources generalist or HRBP experience. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HR compliance. Experience with onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, and talent management programs. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
