IAM/PAM Engineer/Architect

PLEASE READ before you ask any questions or submit any candidates Direct Client (Banking) Hybrid Chicago IL I met with hiring manager today She is++ONLY considering local folks++Will++NOT++consider non locals that are willing to relocate Open for C2C - H1B folks are also acceptable Duration: Till 06/27/2025 with possible extension Architect - $100-$115/hr C2C Engineer - $90-$100/hr C2C This role is Titled as PAM Architect but is more IAM focused and a++SENIOR IAM Engineer with Architecture experience + 1 year PAM will also work++++MUST BE LOCAL Chicago IL++Interview process: 2 interview rounds (final in-person interview) - Manager will start interviewing this week itself Client already has a Seasoned PAM resource on their team and needs Solid IAM resource with at least 1+ year of PAM Must have Hands on IAM - BOTH from Engineering and Architectural perspective Apt to lead and drive IAM initiatives - design, implementation, delivery. 1+ years of PAM experience - (Prefer CyberArk but any PAM tool is fine) This role is more of understanding strategy, roadmaps, documentation, coach team members as required PLUS (Not a MUST HAVE) - Client wants to build out more KPI's, maybe SLA's - any experience with metrics would appeal to the Client. >++Job Description:++> Essential duties and responsibilitiesInfluence the planning and execution of a strategic vision for rigorous and scalable solutions with a focus on creating measurable benchmarks, or KPIs, to show progress (or deficiencies requiring additional attention) > Collaborate with Identity Security Engineering and IAM to implement PAM solutions that align with access policies and processes. > Further develop or refine PAM and IAM standards, patterns, policies and procedures. > Research, validate and deploy solutions meeting security and business needs. > Drive security efficiencies, enabling security team members to work on more advanced tasks. > Possess a DevOps focus across technology and security architecture, automation, integration and distribution. > Perform other duties as assigned. >++Experience requirements++> 7+ years in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in a senior role directly leading IAM initiatives. > Experience in both cloud and on-premises IAM solutions > Working knowledge of governance frameworks such as NIST or ISO 17799> Extensive knowledge of Privileged Access Management (CyberArk Preferred), SSO, MFA, Active Directory (AD), public key infrastructure (PKI), and application program interface (API) capabilities. > CISSP (heavily preferred), CIAM, CCSP or other equivalent certification.Or master's degree in cyber security, related field. >++Knowledge, Skills, ablilties, and behaviors required++> Highly technical and analytical, with a proven deep background in IAM technology design, implementation and delivery. > Track record acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively. > Excellence in communicating business risk from cybersecurity issues. > Track record of acting with integrity, taking pride in work, seeking to excel, being curious and adaptable, and communicating effectively. > Highly trustworthy, leads by example. > Thanks & Regards, >Raj Lakhani | IT Director | Veritis Group, Inc.1231 Greenway Drive, Suite 1040, Irving, TX 75038> Email: | | A Certified MBE > AWS Select Partner | HashiCorp Partner | Docker Partner
