Assignment Overview Location: Lima, Ohio Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Locum Tenens (6 months) Shift Types: Days & Nights EMR: Epic Shift Schedule Multiple shift blocks available: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Flexible scheduling options built around department needs. Emergency Department Snapshot Annual Volume: 55,000 ED Beds: 42 Patient Volume: ~1.88 patients/hour Trauma Level: II Hospital Size: 425 beds Staffing Model: Physicians APP team APPs supervised: Yes (APP oversight required) Candidate Requirements Board Certification: ABEM or AOBEM - ABFM/ABIM Board Accepted – Must become BC within 5 years of eligibility Board Eligibility: Up to 5 years accepted Training: EM residency-trained only Experience: Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine practice Certifications: ACLS (required if not BC EM) ATLS (required if not BC EM) BLS (required if not BC EM) Licensing: Hospital will process pending Ohio license Supervision: Must be comfortable supervising APPs Additional Notes Long-term continuity assignment with stable scheduling High acuity with diverse pathology typical of major regional trauma centers Full support services, including radiology, specialists, and robust inpatient teamsaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
