Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Acute Care Med Surg Job Details: • Part-time position working 2x12 hour shifts • Rotational schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays • Provide high quality compassionate care to patients and families in medical/surgical setting • Develop specialized skills in cardiac care including telemetry monitoring • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with interdisciplinary team • Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery throughout patient episodes • Conduct patient and family education to assist with self-care beyond hospitalization • Administer medications and apply nursing interventions with skill and accuracy • Document education provided and patient/family response to education • Maintain infection prevention strategies and required competencies for assigned population • Required: NYS RN Licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications • One year of experience serving in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care.
