Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and relative experience deemed equivalent. 2 - 4 years recruiting experience; physician, healthcare, or agency recruiting experience. Typewriter, Dictaphone, Copying Machine, Computer for word processing and database management. Ability to organize and professionally manage demanding workload. Professional comfort level to facilitate working with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Ability to sustain long periods of sitting. Ability to lift and handle office supplies. Qualifications The Director of Physician Relations provides Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities for physician staff of Jackson Hospital. The Director of Physician Relations participates in the Account Management system, assessing the needs of the customer and meeting a minimum quota as defined by the facility in order to develop and maintain a long-term referral relationship which will generate a continuous flow of admissions to meet hospital census objectives. He/she plan events, presentations, in-services, acts as a liaison between the Referral Source and the hospital, and seeks out new business development opportunities for the hospital. Staff must demonstrate knowledge and skill in provision of services to a varied population including children, adolescents, adults and dually diagnosed patients in a inpatient and partial hospital setting. This position may require working on weekends, holidays and evenings.
