Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is well-suited for a highly organized and efficient professional with a strong background in day-to-day financial operations. The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records and provide support across core accounting functions. Competitive pay Flexible working options 12 paid holidays & 15 days of PTO to start Company paid STD, LTD & life insurance Medical, dental & vision plans Health savings accounts & flex spending accounts FREE financial planning & tax preparation services Continuing education funding Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Process payroll for multiple client companies accurately and on schedule Prepare and file client payroll tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations Prepare and file client sales tax returns Perform bank reconciliations across multiple client accounts Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements for clients Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records for each client Provide general accounting support to clients as needed Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience Solid understanding of core accounting principles Proficiency with bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar platforms) Ability to work independently in an on-site environment Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Effective time management and problem-solving skills Tax preparation experience is a plus Headquartered in Plymouth, MN, BFG has expanded to 9 other locations throughout the U.S. including, 3 more in Minnesota, 2 in Arizona, 1 in Vermont, 1 in Maine and 2 in Illinois.
