Job ID: 134713 Direct Hire Physician Assistant Role $140,000 to $150,000 per year in Toledo, Ohio Physician Assistant - Trauma & Surgical Services Location: Toledo, Ohio Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to provide overnight coverage for Trauma, Surgical ICU, General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery services. This is a DIRECT HIRE, full-time opportunity. Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant: Provide overnight in-house call coverage for trauma, surgical ICU, general surgery, and vascular surgery patientsRespond to Level I and II trauma activations and conduct emergent surgical consultationsAdmit surgical patients requiring inpatient carePerform bedside procedures after training, including suturing, I&D, line placement, and chest tube placementAssist in the operating room as neededManage urgent overnight floor calls and coordinate care with the attending physicianPrecept and educate students rotating on service as needed Qualifications of the Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; Master's degree requiredCurrent Ohio Physician Assistant licensure and national certificationOhio State Medical Board approval to practice as a PABLS certification requiredEligible for DEA/Certificate to PrescribePrior trauma, critical care, or surgical experience preferred Compensation and Benefits for the Physician Assistant: Competitive salary of $140k with additional compensation opportunities7 shifts every 2 weeks (12-hour overnight shifts, 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, including weekends and holidays)Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurancePaid time off, parental leave, long- and short-term disabilityEducational benefits and pension plan with employer contributions403B retirement plan by Jobble
