About the Role Our client is expanding its accounting team and is looking for a Cash Application Specialist to support daily payment posting, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate, organized accounts within the Accounts Receivable department. Key Responsibilities Accurately post high-volume customer payments, including checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards Review remittance information to ensure proper invoice application Investigate and resolve unapplied, short-paid, or misapplied payments Collaborate with internal departments and customers to clarify payment issues Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records Identify and recommend improvements to cash application processes Candidate Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in cash application, A/R, billing, or banking Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numerical data Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills Effective communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset Reliable, professional, and eager to grow Compensation & Benefits Direct hire opportunity Pay up to $25/hr, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement options Training, support, and opportunities for career advancement Submit your resume todayinterviews are currently being scheduled.
