Maintenance Technician

Overview Maintenance Technician will perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs on production equipment and building systems.  Hourly range $23.00-$27.00 Responsibilities Complete Maintenance Work Requests as well as Preventative Maintenance assignments that require electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry skills. Solve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment Assist with new equipment installs and startup Respond to production emergencies on both first and second shifts Demonstrate and help enforce safe work practices Be available to work overtime when required Qualifications Minimum of four years’ experience in manufacturing / industrial / building maintenance Experience with basic electrical and pneumatic control circuits Able to operate powered vehicle equipment including forklifts, platform lifts and Boom Lifts Familiarity with basic construction trades (framing, plumbing, electrical wiring, sheet rocking, painting etc.) Awareness of environmental rules and regulations helpful Physical Demand Requirements: Standing, walking and moderate lifting (up to50 lbs) Must be tolerant of working at heights (up to 30 ft.)
