OverviewPrime Healthcare is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Urologist to join the medical staff at St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to build a comprehensive urology practice within a well-established community hospital that serves a diverse and growing patient population in Northern New Jersey.The selected physician will provide high-quality urologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings while working collaboratively within Prime Healthcare’s mission-driven, patient-centered environment.About Prime HealthcarePrime Healthcare is an award-winning health system operating hospitals and medical facilities across the United States. Prime Healthcare is nationally recognized for clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality outcomes, with a strong commitment to serving medically underserved communities.Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a hospital-based or community urology practice Interest in growing and developing urology services within the hospital Subspecialty interests welcomed but not required Practice Environment Community-based hospital with modern operating room facilities Established referral network and strong primary care presence Supportive administrative leadership and clinical infrastructure Opportunity to build a high-volume urology practice Diverse patient population with significant community impact Compensation & BenefitsPrime Healthcare offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, which may include: Competitive base salary with productivity and/or quality incentives Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and CME time Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Retirement plan options Compensation is commensurate with experience and training.Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a broad range of urologic conditions, including: Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) Nephrolithiasis (kidney stones) Urinary tract disorders Urologic malignancies Male reproductive and sexual health conditions Perform urologic procedures and surgeries consistent with training, experience, and granted privileges Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-up care Participate in shared call coverage per department policy Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine, oncology, and ancillary services Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation within the electronic medical record Adhere to Prime Healthcare policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and patient safety programs Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of an ACGME-accredited Urology Residency Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology (American Board of Urology) Eligibility for New Jersey medical licensure Eligibility for DEA registration and hospital credentialing Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills Commitment to evidence-based medicine, ethical practice, and patient-centered care Pay TransparencyENTITY NAME offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $425,000 to $475,000 on an annualized basis.
