Secretary - K-12 - Bookkeeper Expecting More Today.... Educating for Tomorrow DeKalb County Schools Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Working knowledge of computer applications, office procedures and machines. Good verbal and written communication skills. Reports To: Principal or Principal's designee Responsibilities: Supervise activities within the office, i.e., student aides. Serve as secretary to the principal Responsible for bookkeeping, typing, counting and depositing funds, filing reports of school finances. Serve as receptionist for the office. Maintain records and accurate documentation on file as directed by local, county, state and federal regulations. Perform any other position related tasks as assigned by the principal. Maintain the confidentiality of student records. Terms Of Employment: Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule. Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
