Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift Job Title: Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift $30 - $40 per hour Join our dynamic maintenance PM team responsible for all five plants within our expansive plant complex. You will play a vital role in ensuring machine reliability and minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance during breakdowns, and supporting the production team. Use our CMMS for effective PM tracking. Responsibilities Complete preventive maintenance on machinery and manufacturing equipment. Conduct reactive maintenance as breakdowns occur. Support the production team in maintaining machine reliability. Focus on reducing downtime across the plant complex. Utilize CMMS for tracking preventive maintenance activities. Essential Skills Proficiency in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Strong knowledge of 480v motors, multimeters, gears, sprockets, pumps, and rollers. Experience with PLC, PLC troubleshooting, relay logic, and gearboxes. Competency with 480v, 24v, and 110v electrical systems and AC/DC drives. Understanding of Ohm's Law, Watt's Law, and other fundamental electrical theories. Minimum of 8 years' experience in electro-mechanical maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in metal rolling and metal stamping. Strong electrical and PLC knowledge is preferred. The shift is from Sunday to Thursday, 4 PM to 4 AM, with initial training during the day for two weeks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, GA.
