Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse - $1,918 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Patient ratio 1:5-6 on a 32-bed telemetry unit • Work every other weekend unless specified elsewhere • Floating required within facility/scope of practice as needed • Call requirements rare with 2-hour response time • Work major holidays if they fall during assignment period • Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS • Navy blue scrubs required • Epic charting system (preferred), Pyxis, SBAR • 36 hours of orientation provided • Care for adult to geriatric patient population • Manage overflow IMCU patients with arrhythmias, cardioversion, cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal and pulmonary conditions • Experience required with cardiac drips, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-PCI patient care • Must have knowledge of cardiac medications including amiodarone, cardizem, dobutamine, dopamine, nitroglycerin, milrinone, heparin • Handle post cardiac catheterization patients, TR bands, DKA management • Occasional orthopedic or CVA patient overflow • Required skills include IV insertion, phlebotomy, port access, feeding tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula • Full compliance required to start on time • Clinical screening required for candidate review Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 32-bed telemetry unit that serves as overflow for the intermediate care unit.
