Client Services ManagerWho We Are United Electric Supply Co. Position Summary The Manager of Client Services leads a portfolio of high-impact field and value-added services that help electrical contractors build smarter and end users operate more efficiently. This role owns the strategy, performance, and P&L for On-Site Construction Services, Prefabrication and Custom Products, Customer Training, End-User Storeroom Management (VMI), and Project Advanced Logistics. Ideal candidates have real-world contractor or construction services experience, understand jobsite and prefabrication workflows, and know how to turn operational expertise into scalable services that deliver measurable value. Position Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors. Build a talent pipeline for field services, prefabrication, and project execution roles. Reinforce United's employee-owner culture. Build an integrated workflow for project execution that combines prefabricated items, staged/kitted materials, and jobsite deployment via trailers, job boxes, and carts for pipe, wire, and light fixtures. Coordinate with customerproject managers to customize offerings based on the specific logistical needs of the project. Participate in key customer meetings and jobsite walk-throughs. Oversee the logistics, deployment, replenishment, tracking, and retrieval of onsite assets including trailers, job boxes, and carts for pipe, wire, and lighting fixtures. Manage production planning, scheduling, labor allocation, quality assurance, and on-time delivery performance of United's Custom Products Group. Drive continuous improvement (lean principles) and margin performance while maintaining safety and quality. Set direction, goals, and performance metrics across all assigned functions (safety, quality, on-time delivery, asset utilization, gross margin, labor productivity, customer satisfaction). Lead our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) operations for end-user storerooms, ensuring reliable replenishment, accurate inventory, and strong service experience. This will include utilizing technology and the evaluation/development of efficient processes. Oversee our Customer Training Services strategy including curriculum development and delivery formats (in-person, virtual, onsite). Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop a go-to-market strategy to expand utilization of United's Client Services. This is a Safety Sensitive Position May be required to operate powered industrial trucks. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. several times a day, bend, twist, and climb.
