Job Description

Job Summary: Cardinal Health is focused on safeguarding its assets through effective security measures. The Analyst role in the Security Operations and Intelligence Center involves monitoring global events, coordinating responses to incidents, and supporting various security initiatives. Responsibilities: • Monitor developing global events and analyze each for potential impact on company assets • Identify, initiate, and coordinate the appropriate response and notification to senior management and crisis management teams • Draft intelligence reports covering relevant topics in relation to global business impact • Provide (24x7x365) support on a global scale • Respond to various incidents that have been escalated to Global Security for resolution. Examples may include: • Alarm calls from enterprise security solutions provider • Fraud incidents • ACC or Workplace violence incidents • Dispatch local security officers to incident locations • Monitor and coordinate a response to security device activations (panic buttons, emergency phones, lockdown buttons, AED activations) • Assist the Dublin Security Team with Security Officer Scheduling and call offs • Monitor enterprise access control and critical alarms • Monitor the fire system and respond to alarm activations • Assist with special projects that support Global Security and business initiatives • Monitors and navigates CCTV systems to assist in investigations or live security monitoring • Troubleshoots security system issues and escalates as appropriate • Assist with the provisioning and de-provisioning of badge access • Perform security system device audits Qualifications: Required: • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred • 0-2 years’ experience in related field (Security/Security Solutions, Intelligence Analysis, Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections, Risk Management, Business Continuity, IT, etc.) or combination of professional experience and education • Knowledge of security systems, devices, and building automation systems in a corporate environment • Knowledge and experience in SharePoint • Experience with Office products (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) • Ability to apply knowledge and experiences to a rapidly changing environment • Dedicated to the principal of Ethical behavior • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to resolve problems and develop process improvements • Commitment to Customer Focus and Operational Excellence • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and maintain a team-first mentality • Excellent critical thinking, planning and decision-making abilities Company: Cardinal Health is a manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products.
