Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Pay: $67 per hour Location: Greensboro, NC 27408, USA Job Type: 6-month contract to hire | Onsite Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (every other weekend and possible holiday rotations may be required) Overview: The Nurse Practitioner provides primary and family care in collaboration with a clinical care team. The NP delivers evidence-based care to a panel of patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning. This role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure positive patient outcomes and reports to the Practice Manager. Duties & Responsibilities: Provide primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning Conduct routine examinations and diagnostic tests to assess and treat patients for injuries or illnesses Promote patient engagement in their healthcare through screenings, wellness programs, behavioral health support, and chronic condition management Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive plans of care Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment Participate in quality measurement and chronic disease management programs Work autonomously while collaborating with the clinical care team
