The provider will manage diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care for oncology and hematology patients, support the nurse practitioner, and participate in research study enrollment as needed.Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities: Average hospital patients per day: 12-15 Adult patient population Inpatient oncology and hematology care Outpatient coverage as needed for physician vacation Collaboration with practice staff and oversight of NP Facility Details: Practice Setting: Inpatient with some outpatient coverage Number of Physicians: 2 EMR: EPIC Patient Population: Adult Requirements: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Active Virginia license required BLS certification required This locums opportunity is ideal for Hematology/Oncology physicians seeking short-term, structured inpatient coverage with occasional outpatient responsibilities.
