We are seeking an experienced Mammography Radiologist for a 240-day locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and offers full-time, day-shift hours Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and interventional breast imaging skills and must be able to perform breast biopsies onsite. Job Details Location: Massachusetts Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 240 days Provider Type Needed: Mammography Radiologist Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Interpret diagnostic mammograms, averaging 10–12 cases per day (alternating weekly schedule: MWF or Tues/Thu) Read 60 screening mammograms per day Perform 6 breast biopsies on alternating days (MWF or Tues/Thu) Ensure all imaging and biopsy procedures meet Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams Maintain accurate case logs and documentation as required for MQSA compliance Additional Information Must hold active licensure in Massachusetts Required board certifications: Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology Must have current MQSA certification and experience performing breast biopsies Onsite work is required; telemedicine not accepted Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
