Park Attendant - Part-Time

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Park Attendant!The Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District is on the lookout for a friendly, dedicated professional to join our team as a part-time Park Attendant. If you have a passion for people and the outdoors, a knack for detail, and you are a strong communicator, we'd love to hear from you!About the Role:You'll play a crucial part in maintaining two of the District's parks. Your daily responsibilities will include: Customer Service: Greet and interact with park patrons Safety: Enforce park rulesReservation Preparation: Prepare pavilion areas for reservationsMaintenance and Cleaning: Regularly inspect, maintain, repair, and clean park facilities and groundsIndependence: Problem solve on the fly Teamwork: Collaborate with Facilities Technicians and Park staff to complete tasksAdaptability: Rain or shine, you'll be out there, so embrace all seasons and be open to shifting priorities. Our parks are busiest on weekends and holidays. It's important you are able to work these shifts.
