Commercial Lumberyard Boom Driver

Commercial Lumberyard Driver Kreofsky Building Supplies, a fourth-generation family-owned business, is hiring a Commercial Lumberyard Driver for our Rochester, MN location. The ideal candidate would have a Commercial Driver's License - CDL Class B or higher and must have experience driving Boom Trucks. Essential Functions: Assist with building loads for delivery. Delivery of building materials. Assist in unloading products for stock in Lumberyard. Assist systems and customers with loading and unloading supplies. Ensure lumberyard is kept clean and safe for customers and employees. Communicate truck maintenance or issues with Lumberyard Foreman. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Other Functions: Properly operate forklift. Lift/carry 50+ pounds on a regular basis. Clean and organize yard and warehouse as needed. Attend regularly scheduled yard Safety meetings and trainings. Qualifications: Reliable and on time for work Attentive Able to perform physical labor at a constant pace. Able to follow directions. Works well independently or as a team. Positive attitude. Hard worker. Strong time management skills. Valid driver's license Experience & Education: Correctly use a variety of hand and power tools Knowledge of products sold and stocked location. Learn and able to read Spruce paperwork accurately. Basic problem-solving skills. Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Rochester, MN: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). Pay is based upon experience. Substance Abuse Testing: Due to the safety and/or security sensitive nature of this classification, individuals shall be subject to pre-employment or pre-placement alcohol, drug and/or controlled substance testing as outlined in the handbook. Certain positions within this class are subject to DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) drug and alcohol testing as outlined in 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 382 (by assignment).
