Description POSTING NUMBER : N112-2526 POSTING DATE : June 26, 2025 CLOSING DATE : Open Until Filled POSITION: Substitute Registered Nurse LOCATION : Various REPORTS TO: Health Services Coordinator PRIMARY FUNCTIONS : Provides general health care services to students within the Hartford Public School system. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut. • Must be a graduate of an accredited school for nurses. • Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. • Prior nursing experience in an educational environment preferred. • Knowledge of school health procedures, i.e. state and federal mandates. • Must have transportation. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Current and valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license • Current and valid CPR certification SALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: $45.00 per hour.
