Assembly Worker Structures - A&P - C130 | Lockheed Martin You will be the Assembly Worker Structures - A&P - C130 for the team which is responsible for building and/or mating structures where the assembly is coordinated, or built with the benefit of tooling with established primary locations. What You Will Be Doing As the Assembly Worker Structures - A&P - C130, you will be responsible for performing such operations as minor reforming of parts to correct contour, crimping, trimming, and filing parts to fit, framing, skinning, riveting, and attaching fittings and installations required to obtain a finished assembly. Your responsibilities will include: Drilling and reaming to specified tolerances, and milling rivets as required Installing incidental plumbing, electrical rigging, or other functional items as required by practical assembly sequence Installing typical items such as braces, brackets, platenuts, and clips for fastening, hanging, or supporting installations Disassembling and/or reassembling structure and installations where units are essentially returned to their original position, or where their position previously has been established Fabricating structural items such as clips, angles, gussets, and patches, etc. What's In It For You We are committed to supporting your work-life balance and overall well-being, offering flexible scheduling options. Who You Are The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled and experienced assembly worker with a strong knowledge of aircraft assembly, structures assembly, and installation practice and procedure. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to read and interpret detail, assembly, and installation blueprints, or other authorized documents, and the ability to use necessary jigs, fixtures, rivet upsetting, assembly equipment, and hand tools.
