We're looking for a skilled Manual Machinist/Toolmaker who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in craftsmanship, and collaborates closely with engineers and machine builders to bring custom solutions to life. Job Duties: Set up and operate conventional/manual machines to fabricate metal and non-metal parts-often one-of-a-kind Work from blueprints, sketches, sample parts, or verbal instructions (sometimes without a net!) Interpret dimensions, tolerances, setups, and machining sequences with confidence Calculate and adjust speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut Monitor machining operations and make real-time adjustments to maintain tight tolerances Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure exact conformance Partner with engineers, machine builders, programmers, and fellow craftsmen to solve complex challenges Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, plus apprenticeship, trade school, or vocational training Minimum 2 years of experience as a machinist or toolmaker Strong ability to read blueprints, machine dial gauges, and precision measuring instruments Solid understanding of materials, including machinability, stresses, heat treating, and stress-relieving processes A detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to quality and accuracy Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
