Job DescriptionPrincipal Software IntegratorLocation: Huntsville, AL (100% On-Site) Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Position Overview The Principal Software Integrator will support the integration, deployment, and sustainment of complex software systems within a secure government environment. This role requires hands-on experience integrating multiple software components into a unified system, supporting both Windows and Linux environments, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure system reliability, usability, and compliance. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; orMaster's degree with 3 years of related experience; or PhD with 1 year of related experience. Previous experience integrating multiple software components into a single operational system. Experience with Windows and Linux system administration. Ability to develop and maintain in-depth expertise in the GSS Launch Management Systems concept of operations and user interface. Experience writing installation manuals and technical documentation. Experience developing scripts using Bash, C Shell, and Python. Experience working within the Atlassian toolset, including: JIRA Confluence Bitbucket / Git Jenkins Artifactory CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification meeting DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II requirements. Active, in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance required at time of start. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower. Familiarity with Java and object-oriented development concepts. Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code. Experience analyzing ASCII and XML log files. Ability to perform basic SQL operations in a MySQL environment.
